Untuk bagian unit pengendali atau remotenya, The SplashDrone
ini menggunakan remote 8 CH yang sudah menggunakan frekuensi tinggi 2.4 GHz
untuk jalur transmisi datanya. Dengan remote ini anda juga bisa mengaktifkan
berbagai fitur yang terdapat di The SplashDrone seperti Return to Home, Follow
me, mengambil gambar, merekam video, mengatur gimbal, dan lain – lain. Jangkauan
remote ini pun terbilang jauh, dengan remote ini anda bisa mengendalikan The
SplashDrone hingga dalam radius sejauh 1 Km. Dengan radius sejauh itu, anda sudah bisa
mengambil gambar dalam keadaan hujan sekalipun, ditambah dengan emergency Flare
Adapter yang akan memberikan sinyal ketika drone terjatuh dan GPS dalam keadaan

Drone ini memiliki 4 versi yang berbeda walaupun dalam
bentuk yang sama, keempat versi itu adalah:

The DIY version is purposely brought out in a
very standard format for the enthusiast to build up. It comes without a Radio
Transmitter, GPS flight system, Battery and Balance Charger. With the
waterproof BASIC you can setup any unique kind of flight system you want. Also
a Transmitter and Battery you prefer.
2.
The RTF version is a fully Ready-to-Fly system
that includes the flight controller and telemetry remote radio control system
installed and setup, ready to fly. The GYRO is activated in Manual Mode, which
make SPLASHDRONE different from other drones. People can fly easy in Manual
Mode and no worry of the sudden fly away happen. According to the comprehensive
feedback, most of the fly away accidents happens because the environment
interference interfere the GPS module, either the compass or the GPS signal. So
now you can fly SPLASHDRONE on the street without worry of sudden out of
control because of the complex interference from the environment. SPLASHDRONE
supports autopilot hover with altitude and position lock and hold for greater
stability, point cruise around, low battery auto landing, out of range auto
return home, and one button return home functions. The RTF version is fully
waterproof and includes a quick detached plate for fixing a waterproof camera.
